Job Description
Clean and maintain guest rooms, including making beds, changing linens, and vacuuming carpets.Clean and sanitize bathrooms, restocking toiletries and amenities.Ensure cleanliness in public areas, including hallways, lobbies, and restrooms.Empty trash bins and keep common areas tidy and organized.Replenish guest room supplies, including towels, toiletries, and linens.Report any supply shortages to the housekeeping supervisor.Respond to guest requests for additional items, such as pillows, towels, or blankets, in a timely manner.Inspect rooms for maintenance issues (e.g., broken fixtures, damaged furniture) and report them to management.Ensure that all rooms meet cleanliness and hotel standards before guest check-in.Adhere to all hotel safety, cleanliness, and sanitation policies and procedures.Use cleaning products and equipment safely and according to instructions.
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is a plus, but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work efficiently and manage time effectively.
- Good physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks.
- Ability to lift and carry cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Ability to bend, stoop, and move furniture as necessary for cleaning.
- Friendly and professional attitude, with the ability to interact with guests positively.
- Ability to respond quickly to guest requests and address issues.
