Job Description

  • Clean and maintain guest rooms, including making beds, changing linens, and vacuuming carpets.
  • Clean and sanitize bathrooms, restocking toiletries and amenities.
  • Ensure cleanliness in public areas, including hallways, lobbies, and restrooms.
  • Empty trash bins and keep common areas tidy and organized.
  • Replenish guest room supplies, including towels, toiletries, and linens.
  • Report any supply shortages to the housekeeping supervisor.
  • Respond to guest requests for additional items, such as pillows, towels, or blankets, in a timely manner.
  • Inspect rooms for maintenance issues (e.g., broken fixtures, damaged furniture) and report them to management.
  • Ensure that all rooms meet cleanliness and hotel standards before guest check-in.
  • Adhere to all hotel safety, cleanliness, and sanitation policies and procedures.
  • Use cleaning products and equipment safely and according to instructions.

    • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is a plus, but not required.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
    • Ability to work efficiently and manage time effectively.
    • Good physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks.
    • Ability to lift and carry cleaning equipment and supplies.
    • Ability to bend, stoop, and move furniture as necessary for cleaning.
    • Friendly and professional attitude, with the ability to interact with guests positively.
    • Ability to respond quickly to guest requests and address issues.
